About our Program
The Siena Program was developed at Siena College and financed by ADU to assist Ukraine in its training of English language teachers. The Program trains Ukrainian teachers of English in Western English Language mythology and in the integration of instructional technology into their schools’ curricula.
About our Center
Our Resource Centre has an extensive English library for students and teachers. The library holdings consists of books, video and audio tapes.
How our Center can serve You
- If you are looking for information from English language newspapers and magazines, you will find these in the center.
- If you want to organize a holiday for your students, come to our center and you will find decorations for it.
- If you are a creative teacher, come to our center and you will find new ideas and theories for your lessons.
All resources are available only for members of the association.
Some Association Projects/Activities
- East and West – Together (collaboration with a sister association)
In 2008, we organized a very interesting project ”East and West –together”. Pupils from Myrhorod visited Lviv and Uzhhorod. They got acquainted with the history and the culture of our part of the country. Then students from Lviv and Uzhhorod visited pupils in Myrhorod in order to study the history and culture of this part of the country - Guiding Students in Extra Curricular Activities Pupils took part in the conference “Young People for Peace”.

Our Agenda
1. Meet monthly to discuss new resources and technologies.
2. Collaborate with Teachers ‘Associations in 9 regions in preparation for establishing a National Association of Teachers of English in Ukraine.
3. Continue our project” East and West –together”.
4. Organize different language activities for students.
